Players will learn and work on everything from basic to advanced dribbling and ballhandling techniques and maneuvers that will encompass a variety of situations. Every player, no matter the position, can benefit from being a better dribbler, allowing them to feel more comfortable anywhere on the court when the basketball is in their hands.

Players will learn and work on everything from basic to advanced skills in the post area which include, but is not limited to: getting open in the post, keeping position, finishing around the basket, proper and precise footwork, rebounding, and high post moves. No matter the position, no player can be a complete player without having the necessary skills to be a threat to score and help their team wherever they are on the court.

October 16

Players will learn the proper stance and defensive techniques to lead them on their way of becoming a great defensive player for their team. Coaches always say "Defense wins championships" because defense is a skill that every player can be good at if they work hard and have the right technique.

October 23

Players will learn from head to feet how to shoot with the proper form and technique that will help them to become a better, more consistent shooter. Players will go through many drills and exercises that will teach them the correct way to shoot a basketball to increase its chances of going in, shot after shot.

2)Register at the door the day of the 1st camp your son/daughter is attending by downloading and completing the registration form and bringing it with you along with cash or a check to the camp

3)Download and complete the registration form and email it back to Coach Wood at mwood@lvjusd.k12.ca.us , then bring cash or a check to the 1st camp your son/daughter is attending.
